I have used all the big names in CMS including WordPress (yuk), Drupal, and most often Joomla. And a lot of not so well known CMS.

However I have been using ocPortal on this site for awhile now and I have to say, it is really quite impressive and becomes more and more impressive with each and every release. Not to mention the developers who go out of their way to try to please people. Chris and his team are completely amazing and have a real work of art here. I know I don't get a chance to come post on your forums or try to help people out as much as I would like but I am still very appreciative and will always be sending you good energy. Thank you!

I just updated to ocPortal 8 from ocPortal 7. Aside from some minor issues it was rather smooth going, like always.

For some reason my php.ini was way outdated so I just updated that a bit. I had to remove my open_base_dir restriction which I am not really sure was necessary even.

I also had to remove the Recommend Site link which they have a video about on their site to remove some $REPLACE code in the link.

After I did those 2 things the upgrade worked flawlessly. Including it automatically upgraded my theme which I had created quite some time ago based off some cool looking free HTML template I found. Since then I haven't had to really do much to the theme at all because ocPortal always somehow automatically upgrades it. Wicked! I should probably tweak it a bit and release an update some time though.

In short, ocPortal is simply pure awesomeness with a side of delightful happiness.
